Participants acknowledge that nutritional guidelines will be provided for them to make appropriate food choices on their own. In no way are the guidelines a substitution for, or a representation of the advice or recommendations of a registered dietician.

It is a violation of Kansas State Law for anyone other than a State Registered Dietician to provide meal planning, and no meal planning will be provided by personal trainers.

All participants will be given recommendations appropriate to their fitness goals. It is the participant's express responsibility to carry out said recommendations, including performing daily cardio, and following nutritional guidelines.

It is the responsibility of the participant to: participate in bi-weekly workout sessions with the trainer, perform one additional workout outside of the gym, and perform daily cardio. Failure to adhere to any of these recommendations will dramatically hinder participant progression/weight loss, and is the sole responsibility of the participant.

The Pound Percent Program consists of 40, 1/2 hour (30 minute) in-gym, personal trainer guided workout sessions; 1 written, bi-weekly trainer provided workout session to be performed by the participant outside of the gym; and daily cardio recommendations which the participant will be expected to perform on their own time. Failure to comply with any or all exercises and recommendations will impact participant success. A percentage of training costs will only be refunded to the participant(s) who have completed all 5 months and 40 sessions of the program, commencing on the date of the first in-gym trainer directed workout, and ending on the day of the 40th in-gym, trainer directed workout. No additional time will be added to the allotted period of time for participants that missed or did not attend ANY of the 40, in-gym trainer directed workouts.

Refunds are only applicable to candidates that participate in and pay for all 5 months of the program, beginning on January 14, 2014 and ending on May 29, 2014. The monthly cost of the program is $200.00, with the total cost of the program being $1,000.00. The maximum refund that a program participant can receive is $500.00. The following refund structure shall apply to pounds lost: 10 pounds = 10% refund, 20 pounds = 20% refund, 30 pounds = 30% refund, 40 pounds = 40%, 50 pounds = 50% refund.
